Atop London’s Television Centre, formerly home to the BBC staff car park, Pergola on the Roof was one of the capital’s most popular hangouts during summer.

The pop-up bar and dining experience returns this winter, transforming the West London roof top into an enchanting Nordic forest, protected under a weatherproof dome. The fairy tale setting has been inspired by Scandinavian folklore, adorned with verdant greenery, bark forest flooring and holly and ivy trimmings.

Food is provided by Patty & Bun, Snaps & Rye, Spitalfields’ Indian restaurant Gunpowder and Le Bab, lauded for its Middle-Eastern and Asian gourmet kebabs. With free table reservations, this is an ideal venue for large parties and is open 3 November until 22 December 2016.

You may be in White City, but you’ll feel like you’ve stepped inside London’s very own sky-high Narnia.
